The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

A queer retelling of the legend of Achilles, this book had a recent resurgence on BookTok which piqued my interest.

I thought that the love between Achilles and Patroclus was beautifully and artfully depicted in this book and the mythological elements were cleverly woven into the entire novel.

The cover is so nice and shiny too with the helmet having textured elements. Whoever said that people don't judge a book by its cover was certainly unaware of this beauty of a book.
